Apres-Ski / Nightlife
Since
many of the hot spots also are restaurants, see Dining
for more information.
On sunny days, the best apres-Ski is in the Place St.
Bernard, where a stage often is set up with a live band cranking
out the tunes. People sit in chairs with a brew and enjoy the sun,
listen to the music and watch everyone looking for their friends.
La
Grappe a Vin is the place to go for fine wine or liquors and
light fare. Microbrasserie La Diable has canned music, good
sausages for late-night snacks and six beers brewed on the premises.
Blues bands play every Friday and Saturday.
Le Shack is a bit louder and often has a live band on the
weekends. The whimsical decor of trees and flying geese overhead
makes you feel like youre outdoors. The dancing never stops
here, so be prepared for a lot of apres-ski exercise. Shooters are
served in the traditional Quebec glass ski boot.
Cafe d'Époque in Vieux Tremblant sports strobe lights,
loud live music (also CDs) and lots of bodies pressed together on
the crowded rustic wood dance floor. OK at night, but a bit of a
pit when exposed to daylight.
Ptit Caribou is also in Vieux Tremblant and consistently
gets high ratings from Canadian magazines. Great, loud music and
bar-top dancing by go-go girl wannabes. The people and the noise
create the wild party ambience. Youll feel like youre
20 again, be ready to stay up far too late into the night.
