Central Reservations (866-829-7722) can book all lodging and
has good travel, lodging and ski packages. We list lodging choices
in the base village, but there are less expensive alternatives nearby.
At
the upper end of the village, the luxurious Fairmont Tremblant
(866-829-7722; 681-7000; $$$$$$$; above left) is a magnificent
stone-and-timber structure with ski-in/walk-out access, shops and
restaurants, as well as a health club with indoor and outdoor heated
pools.
Le
Westin Resort & Spa (866-783-5630; 681-8000; $$$$) is a
high-end condo-hotel with ski-in/ski-out access, featuring 126 rooms,
an outdoor saltwater pool, 24-hour room service and a world-class
spa. Lots of mahogany and rich colors throughout make it inviting.
The
all-suite Le Sommet des Neiges (866-783-5630; 681-2000; $$$$)
is just 100 feet from the Express Gondola. Suites have one to three
bedrooms and include fireplace, fully equipped kitchens, washer
and dryer. It has an exercise room, outdoor hot tub and indoor parking,
too.
Ermitage du Lac (681-2222, $$$$) is a boutique hotel near the base of the Cabriolet lift at the lower end of the original village. The rooms include a continental breakfast, and the hot tub in front of the hotel sees lots of spirited action.
The
Marriott Residence Inn, Manoir Labelle (866-829-7722; 681-4000;
$$$$$$$; right) is at the lower end of the village.

La Tour Des Voyageurs (866-783-5630; 681-2000; $$$$$$$)
is a condominium hotel with ski-in/ski out access, a swimming pool
and exercise room.
Le Country Inn & Suites by Carlson 866-783-5630; 681-2000;
$$$$$$$) has comfortably appointed rooms, most with fireplaces
and fully equipped kitchens. Other amenities include a sauna, outdoor
hot tub, exercise room and indoor parking.
The slopeside Lodge de la Montagne (866-783-5630; 681-2000;
$$$$$$$) houses country-style condominium units, many with
gas fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens. It has a sauna, outdoor
whirlpool, exercise room and indoor parking.
Lining the cobblestone street that leads from the Chateau to La
Tour Des Voyageurs are three- to four-story buildings that house
restaurants and shops on the ground floor and condominiums above.
The Saint Bernard, Johannsen and Deslauriers
condos (866-783-5630; $$$$$) are very roomy and beautifully
furnished.
Other condo complexes are within 2 miles and have shuttle service
to the slopes. Pinoteau Village (800-667-2200; $$$$$$$;
below) and Condotels du Village (800-567-6724; $$$)
have kitchens, balconies and fireplaces. Pinoteau Village has cross-country
trails outside its doors, while the Condotels have a clubhouse with
a sauna, hot tub and exercise room and pool table.
Central Reservations also can book the Club Tremblant (800-567-8341;
$$$$$$$), where rates include breakfast, dinner and lifts;
Gray Rocks (800-567-6767; $$$$$$), which has its own
small ski area and specializes in the all-inclusive, heavy-on-socializing
Ski Week; the luxurious Intrawest Resort Club (800-799-3258;
$$$$$$); or several condos, inns, motels and historic lodges
in the villages of Mont-Tremblant and St.-Jovite.
Hotel packages at the resort can include an exclusive passport in
the value season. This includes either a 30-minute massage and one
day of New Generation ski or snowboard rental; or 90 minutes of
refreshing your skills with an instructor and an hour in a sleigh ride.

For
budget travelers, The 84-bed Mont-Tremblant Youth Hostel
(425-6008; $) offers four- to 10-bed dorm rooms as well as private
rooms; all with shared baths. The lodge is in the village, about
2 miles from the mountain, and a shuttle (fee charged) stops at
the front door. A fully-equipped kitchen is available, but the hostel
offers an inexpensive continental breakfast. Guests can relax in
a common room with TV, a library and Internet access.
