Tremblant, Québec, Canada

Getting there:

By air: The nearest major airport is Montreal, 75 miles away, served by most major airlines. Air Canada has many direct or non-stop flights from the United States. Northwest Airlines, KLM and most major airlines serve this major international airport. In high season, charter and package flights are offered direct into Mont Tremblant International Airport from Toronto and New York/Newark. Call (877) 425-7919.

By car: From Montréal, take autoroute 15 north to Sainte-Agathe, where the 15 merges with 117. Continue on autoroute 117 north past St. Jovite. About two kilometers (a little more than a mile) past the town, take exit #119, onto Montée Ryan. Follow signs to Tremblant.

Getting around:

Most visitors arrive by car, so rent one if you fly into Montréal. And then to get some use from the car, we suggest side trips to Mont Tremblant Village and St. Jovite, or even some of the smaller ski areas in the surrounding area.

Packing tip: Bring shoes with good traction. The cobblestone street is fairly steep. Though it has shallow steps built along each side, most people walk in the street (no vehicles are allowed). It can be slippery late at night and early in the morning when melted snow has frozen again.
