kids' ski lessonChild care: The Mother Goose Childcare Center accepts ages 1 to 5 years old. A full-day costs $65 on weekends/holidays and $45 on weekdays; half day costs $45 on weekends/

holidays and $25 on weekdays. Space is limited so call ahead to make a reservation, (603) 763-3500. Reservations are for full-day only.

Combination packages, including childcare and a private one-hour ski lesson for 3 and 4 year olds, cost $95 on weekends/holidays and $75 on weekdays; half days cost $75 on weekends/holidays and $55 on weekdays. Rental equipment is an extra $10.

Child in day careChildren’s lessons: The Snow Stars program (ages 4–7) includes a ski lesson, lift ticket and rentals. It costs $94 for a full day (with lunch) and $74 for a half day (no lunch). This particular program fills up quickly. Reservations are highly recommended and are accepted for full-day and morning half-day only. The Mountain Explorers program (ages 8–12) offers ski and snowboard lessons and includes a lift ticket and rentals. A full-day program also includes lunch and costs $99; a half day costs $82 (no lunch). South Peak Explorers (same age group but skiing and riding on only South Peak for a half day) costs $72.

The Children's Learning Center is next to the South Peak novice area, allowing easy access to the slopes. The South Peak beginner area has five lifts serving 13 easy trails.
